U.S. Windows Store Reveals Special App Offers
Looking for some apps to download this holiday season from the Windows Store? For those on the U.S. Windows Store, Microsoft has listed six apps that are on offer from now till January 31, 2013.
Nokia Working on 10.1-inch Windows RT Tablet Featuring Battery-Equipped Keyboard Cover
Sources has told The Verge that Nokia is working on a 10.1-inch Windows RT tablet with HDMI and USB ports. A special cover with built-in keyboard, kickstand and battery is also being planned for the tablet.

Skype for Windows 8 Introduced
Skype, the voice call and chat service provider that was acquired by Microsoft late last year for US$8.5 million, has announced a new Modern-style version of Skype for Windows 8. The app will be pre-installed on devices from 12 manufacturers, and be made available in the Windows Store come October 26.

Office for Windows RT Anticipated to Ship in November
Microsoft stated that Office for Windows RT will come pre-installed on Windows RT devices; however, it will be a preview version of Office Home and Student 2013. Customers will receive a free upgrade to the final version of the suite through Windows Update starting in November 2012 through January 2013.
