Samsung has released an official statement on their blog, insisting that it has nothing to do with the Anymode Smart Case for the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt announced that the company is supporting HTC's fight against Apple in the on-going smartphone lawsuits.
During Apple's quarterly earning calls on 19th July, the company also mentioned that its updated Mac OS X Lion will be launched on the Mac App Store on 20th July.

The original ultra-portable that started it all, the Apple MacBook Air, will be getting a spec refresh, according to analysts.
The U.S International Trade Commission ruled that HTC had violated two of Apple's patents, which could possibly mean that HTC products would be banned by year end.

Kim Hyung-suk, a South Korean iPhone user, files a lawsuit against Apple for unsolicited location tracking. According to lawyers and court officials, Apple has since compensated Miss Kim one million Korean won.
Remember the Downloads page on Apple's website? The directory of apps is now gone, and the page now promotes the Mac App Store.

Piper Jaffray analyst, Gene Munster, estimates that an average iPhone user will download up to 83 apps per year, with a 61 percent spike in download numbers for 2011.
