At Mobile World Congress 2012, Microsoft chose to keep things simple by announcing the release of the Skype App for Windows Phone, alongside new hardware requirements for devices targeted at entry level markets.
It's not only the PadFone. ASUS has also launched the Transformer Pad 300 at MWC. Designed in collaboration with a university, the tablet is powered by NVIDIA's Tegra 3 platform.

New products aside, Nokia also announced new apps such as Nokia Reader and Nokia Transport for its Lumia smartphones. Its existing Nokia Drive app will get an update that adds speed limit alert.
