LinkedIn Acquires Pulse Newsreader for US$90 Million
Professional network LinkedIn has confirmed its acquisition of 3-year-old news reading app, Pulse Newsreader, for about US$90 Million. 90% of deal was settled with LinkedIn stock, while 10% was in cash.

Google Currents Available Worldwide
Previously found only in the United States markets, Google Currents is now available across the globe. Other than its global availability, Google Currents also adds Google Translate into its mainframe, providing support for up to 38 languages.
