Toshiba is developing a light-field camera for use in smartphones and tablets. Like the light-field image sensor found in the Lytro camera, Toshiba's camera will allow photographers to change the focal point in an image after it has been shot.

Toshiba will not be building the first wave of Windows RT devices, but that is only because it's focusing on Windows 8 machines, like the recently revealed Toshiba Satellite U925t sliding Ultrabook.
Toshiba unveils its 84-inch Quad Full-HD TV model at IFA, which makes it the largest 4K-capable television set the Japanese CE maker has yet to unleash. The Ultra High-Definition TV will be released next year with passive 3D features.

The new Satellite models come equipped with at least one USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0, PC Health Monitor, and Toshiba's exclusive Resolution+ video upconversion technology, just to name a few.
Toshiba took the wraps off three of its latest tablet models, which are the Excite 7.7, Excite 10 and Excite 13. All three Excite models run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processors.
