LG Electronics Acquires webOS from HP for Smart TVs
The story of WebOS takes another turn as LG Electronics has bought the platform from HP. Rather than being used for smartphones and tablets, LG will be utilizing WebOS for its Smart TVs.

LG Exhibits Google TVs, Ultra HD & OLED TVs at CES 2013 (Updated!)
LG has unveiled several new TV and related products at CES 2013. Some that caught our attention are new Google TVs and wider variety of Ultra HD TVs. Also, the company has stated its plans for its 55-inch OLED TV for the US market.

LG to Strut Carbon-Free OLED TV & Smart TV Games at CES 2013
Participants at CES 2013 can expect to see LG's CarbonFree-certified OLED TV and a variety of new Cinema 3D Smart TV games at the tradeshow. LG also announced plans to take pre-orders for their OLED TVs in South Korea, which are slated to arrive in February.
