The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office has published a patent application from Apple, prompting speculations that future iOS and iMac devices might come with a 3D eye-tracking-based interface, reports PatentlyApple.
Press invites are usually a hint at what will be announced at the press conference. NVIDIA definitely took that route with the words "quad-core" and a smartphone put together within the press invite, hinting at the unveiling of a quad-core smartphone during MWC 2012.

Details are still sketchy for the moment, but an industry source has revealed to Forbes that Nokia will be announcing at least one high-end smartphone, alongside an unusual software feature normally found only on high-end smartphones.
Samsung has confirmed that it will not be hosting a press conference at the upcoming Mobile World Congress, reports PCMag.
Chinese information technology website DoNews claimed that Apple is bringing support for Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and Russian languages to Siri in March.

Nokia's first Windows Phone, the Nokia Lumia 800, was launched in three colors: black, cyan and magenta. A fourth color has been revealed, showcasing the Lumia 800 in a pure, white polycarbonate design.
A new report from South Korea says that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be released in stores sometime in May. The selling date aside, the report claims that the Galaxy S II's successor will measure 7mm thin.

Rumored for a Q4 2012 release, the Apollo update for Microsoft's Windows Phone platform has its details leaked. New hardware support such as multi-core, NFC and new screen resolutions, on top of a streamlined integration with Windows 8, have been revealed.
A supposedly leaked image of what appears to be a variant of the Samsung Galaxy SII running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich has surfaced. It is rumored that it will debut in MWC 2012.
