The Samsung 1.4GHz Exynos 4 Quad processor has been announced and is scheduled to be part of the next Galaxy smartphone's hardware specifications.
The specs of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S III were leaked in the AnTuTu benchmark. Besides running on Android 4.0, the Galaxy S III will be powered by the Exynos 4212 dual-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. It also has a 4.7-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels and a whopping 12-megapixel rear camera.

The Network for Electronic Transfers (NETS) is carrying out a three-month trial of Ingenico's iSMP mobile terminal which transforms your iPhone into a PIN secure payment solution. NETS is expected to roll out the terminal for use by merchants by the end of the year.
Photos of another "dummy box" for the alleged ICS-flavored Samsung Galaxy S III (Samsung GT-I9300) have been leaked, featuring a larger virtual menu button than the one found on the Android 4.0 stock software.
Google hops onto the cloud storage bandwagon with Google Drive, which offers 5GB free storage and supports over 30 types of documents including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. It is available now for PC, Mac and Android, and will come soon to the iPhone and iPad.

HTC is said to have signed a memorandum of cooperation with ST-Ericsson to co-develop its own CPU for entry level smartphones. The chipset will start shipping in new devices next year.

Samsung's own cloud service, the S-Cloud, is said to be unveiled alongside the Samsung Galaxy S III on the 3rd of May in London, according to The Verge and MK.
The Huawei Ascend P1 will be available in various regions around the world from May onwards. The Huawei phone will sport a dual-core Cortext-A9 processor and a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED QHD screen.
