As listed on CES 2013 official website, ZTE will be showcasing its 5-inch full HD display flagship option, the ZTE Grand S, on January 8th at the major consumer electronics trade show.
Dell has announced that it will quit the smartphone business and that it will focus its mobile efforts instead on tablets running the Windows 8 and Windows RT platforms.
Other phone vendors including Samsung and Sony are expected to release smartphones with 5-inch Full HD displays in the first half of 2013.
The Korea Times has reported that Samsung is planning to launch a Samsung Galaxy Note III with a 6.3-inch OLED display in 2013.

Google is shelving plans for dedicated apps like Gmail and Drive for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 because of the limited scale of users on Microsoft's platforms. The search giant, however, might change its mind if the situation improves.
Google Maps finally makes a return on iOS devices today. For now, the new app is optimized for iPhone 5, but not yet for the iPad.
Instagram, Twitter and Snapseed aside, Flickr for iOS has revved up the competition with some updates of its own, including the addition of 16 new filters and a revamped UI.

Yahoo has released a completely redesigned Yahoo Mail, which places heavy emphasis on speed and efficiency. Yahoo updated the existing web client and Android app with the new design, while introducing new apps for the iPhone and Windows 8 platform.
To recover from recent losses, Japanese TV giants, particularly Panasonic, Sony, and Sharp, are hawking out US$3 billion worth in assets in a last-ditch attempt to turn the tide.
Apple managed to capture more than a quarter of the world's LTE market share less than three months after the launch of its iPhone 5. Its arch rival, Samsung continues to lead the market for the seventh straight quarter with 40%.
