Toshiba will not be building the first wave of Windows RT devices, but that is only because it's focusing on Windows 8 machines, like the recently revealed Toshiba Satellite U925t sliding Ultrabook.
Frustrated by the lack of innovation in the PC hardware, Valve is taking matters into its own hands and is entering into the computer hardware space.
Toshiba unveils its 84-inch Quad Full-HD TV model at IFA, which makes it the largest 4K-capable television set the Japanese CE maker has yet to unleash. The Ultra High-Definition TV will be released next year with passive 3D features.

Korea Times has reported that Samsung plans to sue Apple if it releases an LTE phone.
At the same time as Sony delivers the Android 4.0 ICS update to its existing Xperia smartphone line, the company will also be porting it to its Android-based tablets, the Sony Tablet S and Tablet P. Additionally, Tablet S will be on the roadmap for Jelly Bean sometime down the line, but the dual-screen Tablet P will not be updated.

Microsoft has released the official SkyDrive app for Android devices.
Motorola and Intel are sending out invites for an event on 18 September in London. It is highly likely that they will be launching an Android smartphone driven by the Medfield processor.

Another new high level appointment for Yahoo as Kathy Savitt joins the team in the capacity of Chief Marketing Officer. She was the founder and CEO for social commerce company Lockerz and has worked for American Eagle and Amazon.
One of Apple's Senior VPs has remarked recently that the likelihood of an Apple HDTV display materializing in the near future is slim, mainly due to the company's inability to secure rights with major networks to broadcast their content.
