LinkedIn Acquires Pulse Newsreader for US$90 Million
Professional network LinkedIn has confirmed its acquisition of 3-year-old news reading app, Pulse Newsreader, for about US$90 Million. 90% of deal was settled with LinkedIn stock, while 10% was in cash.

Google Play Music is rolling out to seven more countries. Users in Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Luxemburg, Austria, Ireland and Portugal are now able to store their music in Google Play for free, and stream them to their Android devices from anywhere.

Google May Be Acquiring Whatsapp for US$1 Billion (Updated)
According to inside sources at Digitaltrends, Google may be interested in buying mobile messaging app, Whatsapp, for a rumored US$1 billion. Update: WhatsApp's business development head, Neeraj Arora, has told AllThingsDigital that the company is not holding sales talks with Google after all.

Sony Reveals Pricing for Its 55 & 65-inch 4K UHDTVs; 4K OLED Monitors in the Works
