Playstation Vita to Have 26 Titles at Launch in Japan

The Playstation Vita looks set to be ready for the gamers who have been clamoring for a long-delayed update to the PSP line-up with Sony releasing an official line-up of 26 games and applications available when the device launches in Japan.

This compared to eight at Nintendo's 3DS launch in February this year is not only good news for those looking to buy into the system, but an indication of stronger developer interest (and hence, a richer ecosystem). Sony has also mentioned that there are a total of 100 games currently being developed by companies for the Vita.
