MSI today officially announces the arrival of the world's fastest notebook, the MSI GT680.

The new MSI GT680, powered by Intel 2nd Generation Core i7 quad core processor and NVIDIA's high-end DirectX 11-ready GeForce GTX 460M discrete graphics card, attained an amazing record-breaking score of 18,162 points on the PCMark Vantage test. That's three times faster on average than other high-end gaming notebooks that are currently in the market.

It also features four DDR3 memory slots, boosting memory capacity to 16GB and accelerated dual solid state drive (SDD) architecture to maximize performance and putting it on par with the best desktop solutions out there.

Engineered and tuned to deliver the best performance and computing experience, the MSI GT680 is also designed to please aesthetically, both aurally and visually. MSI’s collaboration with world-class sound system maker, DYNAUDIO, has resulted in the MSI Premium Sound technology, allowing users to experience unprecedented sound fidelity.

The glowing white characters "MSI" in the center of the cover, the black diamond shape, and fire engine red trim underscore the GT680’s minimalist elegance. The stylish rhombic pattern below the keyboard and the high tech brush finish on the touchpad add texture. The body is sheathed in MSI’s own rich, glossy color film print to protect the GT680 from scratching and wear to keep it in tiptop condition.

The MSI GT680 is scheduled to be available for sale around mid of February and will retail at S$3,399.
