More News on iPad HD and iPad Mini

Citing an unnamed Apple Store source, 9to5Mac reports that preparations are being currently made for a huge Apple Store event which will take place on March 16th, Friday, merely nine days after the official launch of the iPad HD (or otherwise known as the iPad 3). This points to an indication that the next-generation iPad tablet will go on sale in initial markets on the day itself. If this is to be true, we can expect to see it in Singapore by mid-April or earlier.

9to5Mac - We’ve been told by an Apple Store source who has been reliable in the past that preparations are being made for a big Apple Store event which will culminate on Friday, March 16th. This is of course, still pure speculation until the official details have been released. However, BGR reports that this mini version is expected to launch some time in the second half of the year, just slightly ahead of Apple’s next-generation iPhone, which is alleged to launch this fall.
