More Hardware Information about HTC Endeavor/One X Leaked [Update]
*Update: Pocketnow obtained a press image of the upcoming HTC OneX. As seen in the image above, HTC chose to retain three capacitive buttons below the 4.7-inch display instead of adopting virtual buttons in Android 4.0.
Aside numerous name changes, the upcoming quad-core HTC Endeavor/One X has now more ground for speculation. MoDaCo has gotten hold of a new set of alleged and detailed specs, beefing up what we already know about the smartphone.
Notably, the thin phone is now said to come with the AP33 model for its NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. Other details include:
- 4.7-inch Super LCD panel 720p display
- Backlit sensor for 8-megapixel camera
- Comes with Beats-branded earbuds
- FM Radio
- Five-pin connector
- No microSD slot
- Micro SIM
The five-pin connector is allegedly for connecting the phone to a possible Beats audio dock and Bluetooth speaker bar. The phone will also be utilizing Intel's recently-announced XMM 6260 platform for HSPA+ connectivity.
Interestingly, HTC is said to be ditching navigational hardware buttons on the HTC Endeavor/One X (despite previous leaked photos showcasing the four atypical Android buttons) in favor of the ICS's touch-controls system.
HTC aims to launch the phone with the latest Android 4.0 build, 4.0.5, alongside Sense 4.0 but we can only be sure when HTC makes the announcement later this month.
