Epson's New Short Throw Projector Turns Any Surface into an Interactive Screen

The EB-450Wi, the new ultra-short throw projector from Epson, lets you transform any surface into an interactive presentation screen, without the need for an electronic whiteboard.

It can be mounted a mere 7cm from the wall for projection in small rooms, or just 48cm away for an image as large as 80 inches diagonal. Its ability to be mounted such a small distance away from the wall means that problems like eye glare and shadows are eliminated during presentations. A digital infra-red pen comes with the EB-450Wi, which lets users 'write' on the projection, manipulate on-screen elements and control features like a mouse pointer.

The Epson EB-450Wi is a 3LCD projector, a brightness rating of up to 2500 lumens, a native resolution of 1280 x 800, and goes at the recommended price of S$3388. Check out the video below for a demonstration of the EB-450Wi at work:
