Emerson Provides Fujitsu with Increased Data Center Reliability and Efficiency

Emerson Network Power Software Solutions Enable Fujitsu To Reduce Carbon Emissions By 2,700 Metric Tons Annually

Emerson today announced that Fujitsu has significantly improved its data center reliability and efficiency. Using Emerson Network Power’s Aperture software solutions, part of the company’s data center infrastructure management (DCIM) solutions portfolio, Fujitsu increased the overall reliability, availability, and efficiency of its data center systems.

Fujitsu is using Aperture Capacity Manager, Aperture Configuration Manager, and Aperture Infrastructure Process Manager. These solutions provide Fujitsu with the capability to provide accurate anticipation of customers’ expansion needs with simplified and streamlined capacity planning. Emerson has also enabled Fujitsu to operate more efficiently during the companies’ seven-year collaboration. The Aperture software solutions have enabled Fujitsu to reduce carbon emissions by more than 2,700 metric tons per year and saved 380 man hours per month with standardized installation, move, and change processes.
