ASUS Introduces a Series of Desktops with Ivy Bridge Processors

ASUS presents a series of desktop PCs featuring the 3rd generation Intel Core processor - the ROG TYTAN CG8580, the CG8270 and CM6870, and the ET2411 and ET2701 All-in-One PCs.

These ASUS desktops offer a range of features including (but not limited to) Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, Intel Quick Sync Video Technology, and LucidLogix Virtu MVP, which speeds up graphics performance by up to 60% and triples video conversion speeds.

Armed with an Intel Core i7-3770K processor clocked at 4.6GHz, the ROG TYTAN CG8580 comes with a stealth submarine-inspired design, a one-touch Turbo Gear button for instant overclocking, and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT630M graphics processor. Its 23.6-inch Full HD LED-backlit display is ideal for 16:9 videos in 1920 x 1080 resolution, with its Blu-ray drive offering users another way of enjoying multimedia entertainment.

With a sleek tower design providing easy access to top I/Os, the CG8270 has a unique titled chassis design which comes with an LED-backlit ASUS nameplate, brushed aluminum panel, large venting areas and is finished in high quality liquid paint. The CM6870 sports soft curves, simple lines and a polished black finish, all designed to appeal to those with discerning taste.

The ET2411 features a multi-touch interface and touch-enhanced software which enables users to browse through their music, videos, and image files easily, while the ET2701 includes a 27-inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 LED display that is just 3cm at its edge and 7cm at its thickest part and offers a 178-degree wide view angle. It is also equipped with a NVIDIA GT640M graphics processor.

Capable of doubling up as TVs or monitors, both the ET2411 and ET2701 are loaded with the SonicMaster technology, DTS Surround Sensation Technology II, with a tailor-made 10W subwoofer.
