Apple Sells 1 Million Lions in 1 Day

That's one quick cat; in its first day of release over one million Mac users have bought and downloaded the brand new Mac OS X Lion from the Apple App Store. According to Apple, that's a record for fastest selling OS in their history.

Unimpressed? MacRumors submits this little tidbit:

At 3.7GB per download, this totals more than 3.5 petabytes of data -- 3,700,000 gigabytes.

That's a lot of data Apple pushed out within 24 hours.
