The Magic, Revealed

We've seen the HTC Dream (otherwise known as the T-Mobile G1) in action just barely two months back when it was introduced to the Singapore market. Labeled as the first Google Android phone, the HTC Dream was a testbed of sorts for both the Taiwanese manufacturer and the search engine giant, gauging the consumers' response to the budding mobile operating system. The result came as a pleasant surprise to both manufacturers and consumers alike, bringing a new wave of users and developers into the open source market.

Hot off the shelf, we now have the HTC Magic, the second Google Android powered device under HTC's wings. The sleeker successor to the first Android device isn't just about the aesthetic makeover. Internally on the software side of things, there's been a variety of changes that came with a timely update to the Android operating system, more commonly known as Cupcake amongst the developer circle. Read on as we raise the curtain and reveal some of the 'secrets' of the HTC Magic in this review.
