Biostar TForce P965 Deluxe (Intel P965)

Biostar has been a long time player in the motherboard market, more known for their mainstream oriented motherboards in the vein of Chaintech, ASRock or ECS. However, that doesn't mean that Biostar motherboards are not tailored to suit more demanding computing needs. It has been quite a while since we've taken a look at a Biostar motherboard, but their latest TForce series motherboard based on the Intel P965 chipset looks like a very interesting offering and we couldn't pass up the chance to take a first hand look.

In the traditional sense, the TForce P965 Deluxe motherboard has the trappings of Biostar's budget-minded design lineage. However, the board also carries features that are more targeted towards the upper mid-range market and gaming community. The board comes in a fresh packaging design with some interesting items thrown in such as a multi-connector USB charger kit and a earphone/mic set (maybe Biostar thinks all gamers are LAN hopping road warriors?). The quality of the free gifts is basic OEM fare, but it is welcome that they are useful general-purpose items and not tied to the motherboard exclusively.
