WD Announces Availability of Its Third-Gen S25 SAS Hard Drives
Western Digital announces its third-generation WD S25 SAS hard drives is shipping now.
In capacities of 300GB, 450GB, 600GB, and 900GB, the new 2.5-inch 10,000 RPM, WD 525 with SAS 6Gbps interface hard drives offer professionals high-performance storage. Designed for demanding applications such as online transaction processing and multi-tiered networked storage arrays, the drives allow for more system airflow, so cooling costs can be cut. Additionally, they require less than 8W to operate and have a 2.0 M hour MTBF rating.
The WD S25 SAS hard drives are currently shipping to OEMs and are covered by a five-year limited warranty.
