Tactus Technology Exhibits World's First Morphing Tactile Touchscreen Keyboard
Tactus Technology, a California-based touchscreen company were demonstrating a very interesting piece of tech at CES 2013. The company specializes in touchscreens with surfaces that can morph into real physical buttons that rise up out of the surface on demand, and then recede back into the screen, leaving a perfectly flat, transparent surface when gone.
Tactile buttons would obviously make typing on a touchscreen much easier. It's pretty amazing stuff and something that needs to be seen to be believed:
If it works as good as it looks, the next question is which of the big companies will be the first to implement it into its products?
