Synology Presents DiskStation DS1512+
Synology announces the DiskStation DS1512+.
Building on its predecessor the DS1511+, the DS1512+ is powered by a 2.13GHz dual-core processor with Link Aggregation, achieving read and write speeds at 200.31Mbps and 194.83Mbps respectively in RAID 5 configuration. A 5-bay NAS server, it supports 4TB hard drives, easily scaling up to 15-bay for 60TB of maximum storage capacity, made possible through the expansion capabilities of Synology DX510. It runs on the DiskStation Manager 3.2 OS.
The Synology DS1512+ and DX510 are now shipping globally.
