Sony Tablet S and Tablet P to be updated to ICS in Spring; Tablet P not getting Jelly Bean [Update]

Update 2: More OTA news has come out of IFA. The Tablet S will be on the roadmap for Jelly Bean sometime down the line, but the dual-screen Tablet P will not be updated to Jelly Bean due to "the lack of sales and developer interest".
Update: Sony has announced that its Tablet S and P will be receiving the Android 4.0 update in late April. While users in Japan are confirmed getting the update, there is no word yet on the availability of the update in other countries. The update will add new features such as the ability to take photos from the lock screen and a new app, Recopla for viewing digitially recorded TV programs from Sony's Blu-ray recorders.
It has been known for awhile now that Sony has plans to update its Xperia lineup to ICS (click here for the full list). The update will go live between March to May, with the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray getting it first. Given the dual nature (tablet/smartphone) of the Android 4.0 OS, it is unsurprisingly to find out that Sony also plans to upgrade its Android tablets at about the same time:
The Verge - Sony plans to upgrade its two Android tablets to Android 4.0, aka Ice Cream Sandwich, this spring, at about the same time that it delivers the update to its Xperia smartphone line. The Tablet S and Tablet P, we've been told, are already running ICS and are being tested behind the scenes, though Sony wouldn't be drawn on giving any more specific a release window than the spring. The company does plan to add "some really cool unique bits" on top of Android 4.0 especially for its tablet devices, but once again the details of what those additions might be were withheld from us.
