Sony Mobile to Showcase 5-inch 1080p Xperia Odin Smartphone at CES 2013

Another day, another phablet spotted. With the introduction of the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note and its subsequent predecessor, the Galaxy Note II, other manufacturers are warming up to the idea of a "larger-than-life" smartphone device. Cue LG's Optimus VU and VU II, and HTC's DLX (known as J Butterfly in Japan). To add on, a photo leak by Ringer Blue Men has alleged Sony Mobile's rumored flagship C650 phone (codenamed Odin) spotting a 5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Other specs are similar to HTC DLX including:
- Quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor
- 2GB of RAM
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
The website also states that Sony will reveal the smartphone at CES, which is unsurprisingly given the company's track record of showing off flagship devices at the event.
