Sony Launches Its B Series Walkman

Sony introduces the Walkman NWZ-B170 Series.

Offering up to 18 hours of consecutive music playback, the Walkman NWZ-B170 Series comes with a detachable clip which makes it easy to carry around with any outfit. With the Quick Charge function, users can enjoy up to 90 minutes of music after a quick 3 minute charge.

The ZAPPIN technology provides for convenient searching through songs, while the voice recorder allows for instant voice recording. Also featured is the FM tuner with 30 presets so you can listen to your favorite stations.

The NWZ-B170 Series is available in 5 colors in both 2GB and 4GB capacities and will hit Sony stores and authorized outlets this Feb.

With the NWZ-B170 Series it’s a snap, thanks to the sleek and simple USB-dongle design – plug it into your Windows PC, drag and drop the tracks you want, and you’re ready to go. Searching through the hundreds of songs on your Walkman is just as easy with Sony’s unique ZAPPIN technology - click the ‘ZAP’ button once to scan through quick snippets of your songs, and click it again to play the whole song.
