Quad-Core Nexus 10 Featuring 8-Core GPU Launching at MWC 2013?
The Nexus 10 is only in the market for barely three months, but Google is said to be launching a refreshed version of it at MWC 2013.
According to Bright Side of News, its sources claim that the second generation of Nexus 10 will have an increase in "digital horsepower", where the existing dual-core Exynos 5 processor will be replaced with a quad-core processor and an 8-core T628 GPU.
Moreover, the prototype design was reportedly spotted at CES 2013. Bright Side of News pointed out that the performance benchmarks between the two devices were very drastic. Google is said to be addressing some shortcomings of the design of the Nexus 10, although they were generally satisfied with the current design.
We feel that a more possible launch date for the second generation Nexus 10 would be at Google I/O in May, since Google has traditionally launched new Nexus devices at the conference.
