Play Battlefield 1942 Now Free via Origin

First-person shooting (FPS) games have been gaining popularity ever since they have been introduced. And with faster Internet access speeds and multiplayer modes that can support a host of players playing together, the genre's popularity seems set to grow further. 

Battlefield is one of the FPS genre's most recognizable franchises, and you can now get to play the first game in the series for free. In honor of the series's 10th anniversary, Battlefield 1942 is now available as a free download. All you need to do is download the game via EA's distribution service, Origin.
