MSI has announced the launch of the GX60, a 15-inch AMD-powered gaming notebook running on Windows 8 OS and armed with an AMD Trinity A10 quad-core processor and AMD Radeon HD 7970M GPU.
Like MSI's GT range of Intel/NVIDIA powered gaming notebooks, the GX60 will come equipped with a Killer Gaming E2200 Network card and keyboard designed by SteelSeries. The GX60 also features a Blu-ray player and a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution full HD anti-reflection screen. It will also support AMD's Eyefinity multi-monitor technology.
Pricing on the GX60 starts at US$1299. At this time, local availability and pricing has yet to be announced.
“MSI spared no bells and whistles in creating the GX60, packing it with cutting-edge components including the latest AMD processor,” said Andy Tung, vice president of sales for MSI US. “MSI is committed to the gaming community and we believe that exceptional performance leads to unparalleled gaming experience.”
