Google Executive Proves His Identity Online Using Bread

Anonymity on the Internet is a double-edged blade, and the forums can be a nasty place.

Benjamin Sloss Treynor, Vice-President of Engineering at Google is a car nut and is active on car forums where he frequently shares photos of his amazing garage. Knowing that anyone can grab photos off the Internet and claim it as theirs, a member came up with a pretty odd request for Treynor to prove that he did indeed own a Ferrari 458 Italia, Ford Raptor SVT and the new McLaren 12C Spider. He wanted Treynor to post photos of his cars with a loaf of bread on it.

Treynor obliged, and did one better by pairing his cars with breads from the car's country of origin. The Ferrari got Italian bread, while the Ford was paired with New York Rye, and finally, the English Crumpets were placed on the McLaren's hood.
