Google Drive App for iOS Gets Document Creation, Editing & Management Features

Announced during Google I/O this year, the Google Drive application finally gets to showcase itself on the iOS platform. Unfortunately, the app lacked a fair bit of finesse and had little functionality other than document viewing. Thankfully, Google Drive for iOS finally receives a justified update today, one that includes features like document creation, editing and management.
Appadvice - "Astonishingly, Google has even decided to go beyond the necessities, adding document editing to the iOS app with live syncing for painless and speedy collaboration on projects. Offering similar functionality to Google Docs, Drive document editing mode consists of font style, font color, background color, and alignment choices with edits. In addition, Google presentations now support animations, speaker notes, and effortless slide navigation."
Google Drive is a universal app compatible with iOS 5.0 or later and is now available in the App Store as a free download. Those who have previously downloaded the app, head down here to update it to the latest version.
