AMD Add-in Manufacturers Supposedly Working on Radeon HD 7970 X2
AMD add-in partners are rumored to be working on a customized Radeon HD 7970 X2 graphics card that will feature two 28nm Tahiti GPUs; their efforts are reportedly sanctioned by AMD.
It is reported that these partners are unwillingly to wait any further for AMD Radeon HD 7990 GPU to be made available, they have taken matters into their own hands to launch this customized dual-GPU graphics card. It is believed that PowerColor will be the first-off-the-blocks with their PowerColor Radeon HD 7970 X2 as a response to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690.
