<p>Rarely do laptop owners prefer the touchpad for serious and prolonged work due to the limited responsiveness and feel. Hence, users still purchase a separate mouse for extended work. There are no lack of options as the market is saturated with numerous brands, but finding the right one is another story. Genius, a company known for its various input devices, has released the Traveler 330 and 915, portable mice that may end up as your favorite traveling companions.</p>

<h4 class="page_sub_title">The 21mm That Can (Traveler 330)</h4>
<p class="rteleft">Slim probably best describes the Traveler 330 as it measures a mere 21mm in thickness. This stylish mouse sports a metallic grey and black exterior, complimenting the usual look of notebooks. Genius has incorporated in the design the use of rubber grips on both sides of the mouse to prevent it from slipping away from one&rsquo;s hand. The Traveler 330 hooks to any USB port on your system and is quite responsive and precise, thanks to its 1200dpi optical engine.</p>
<p class="rteleft">The 330 also has a scroll wheel that Genius calls the Magic-Roller: a wheel that promises to be more comfortable and ergonomic compared to other scroll wheels. Moreover, one can assign the Magic-Roller to surf the internet or browse through Windows documents.</p>
<h4 class="page_sub_title">The Big Brother (Traveler 915)</h4>
<p class="rteleft">If having a small, wired optical mouse is not really your thing, then maybe a larger, wireless laser mouse will do the trick. The Traveler 915 sports a black and grey look, is just a little thicker than the Traveler 330 and has similar slip-free rubber grips on both sides of the mouse.</p>
<p class="rteleft">The Traveler 915&rsquo;s DPI can be changed on the fly from 800 to 1600dpi (and vice-versa) just by pressing and holding the left and right mouse button simultaneously. The LED in the middle of the mouse will then flash either slowly or rapidly, notifying a user which DPI mode they are in. The LED also functions as a power indicator: it will light up and warn a user when it is time to replace the two AAA batteries. While the roller of the 915 is not as big as the Magic-Roller on the 330, the Traveler 915&rsquo;s roller button offers fast scrolling in four directions for all Windows applications with its 4D scrolling capabilities.</p>
<p class="rteleft">The Traveler 915 comes with a 2.4GHz mini receiver that provides a range of up to 10 meters with no interference whatsoever. However, the receiver is quite tiny and easily misplaced. Fortunately Genius has thought about that and created a small compartment for the mini receiver at the bottom of the mouse. The mini receiver can then be stored in the mouse for easy storage and transport. Finally, users can extend the battery life of the Navigator 915 with a power saving switch that can be found at the bottom of the mouse.</p>

<p class="rteleft">Whether you are looking for input devices that can accompany your notebook or just a new mouse for your desktop, the Genius Traveler 330 and Traveler 915 fit the bill nicely. Their slim profile, various features and most of all, portability, are easily appreciated matters that would appeal to just about any consumer.</p>
