This 15.6-inch notebook can double up as a desktop replacement with its Intel Core i7-2670QM processor and dedicated graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M graphics card. The dedicated graphics card features NVIDIA Optimus graphics switching technology, which switches to the processor’s lower-powered graphics for power conservation when dedicated graphics processing is not required.

Apple MacBook Air

The Apple Macbook Air is the notebook that pretty much started the Ultrabook movement, and the first ultra-thin notebook to find a good balance between power, price and portability (well, in it current edition at least). Its extreme power saving Sandy Bridge, second generation Intel Core i5 (1.7GHz) processor is powerful enough to handle almost everything you can throw at it, while its SSD is fast enough to push the processed data out. It also has a standard 4GB of RAM and a nice bright, high resolution (1400 x 900 pixels) HD LED screen.There are two variations of the 13-inch models, one with the 128GB SSD, and one with the 256GB SSD, and a S$400 price difference between the two. Or you can also opt for the tiny 11-inch versions if you need something even smallere. There won't be any discounts off the machines, but you will be able to get quite a number of freebies when you buy one at Sitex.

Apple MacBook Pro (15.6-inch)

Fancy a powerful notebook that boasts an beautiful aluminium body? You can always count on the Apple MacBook Pro, a creative person's favorite machine. It features two configurations that differ in terms of processor (a quad-core, Core i7 2.2GHz, or 2.4GHz), and graphics card (AMD Radeon 6750M or 6770M). Its high resolution 1440 x 900 pixels screen comes glossy though. It also comes with a standard 4GB of RAM, and either a 500GB HDD or a 750GB HDD. On top of all that, it's also got an incredibly long battery life that lets you work and play for as long as you need to. Specs-wise, It's also been refreshed since the last time we reviewed it earlier this year.
