Samsung's Refreshed Suite of LCD and Plasma HDTVs
The New Series 4, 5, 6 and 7 LCD HDTVs
Samsung did not neglect the LCD range either, with new revisions made to their Series 4, 5, 6 and 7. The B750 from Series 7 will take the helm as Samsung's flagship LCD model, complete with a 200Hz frame rate and a similar Medi@2.0 solution. Series 7 will be made available in 40, 46 and 52-inch models. Series 6 will feature an extensive array of sizes, from 22 to 55 inch models with 100Hz MotionPlus.

However, do note that Series 4 and 5 will not offer the Medi@2.0 package. Effectively, all new LCD models are Full HD capable (1080p), except for the entry-level Series 4 with its HD-Ready panel. The Series 4 and 5 range are branded by Samsung as "hospitality TVs", designed primarily for hotel rooms with snazzy features such as USB cloning and Jack Packs.

The New Series 8 Full-HD Plasma Display Panel
At the plasma end, Samsung has crowned the new 50-inch B850 as their new king in the PDP department. According to Samsung, the Full-HD B850 offers a dazzlingly high contrast ratio by means of their Ultra FilterBright technology. Wide Color Enhancer 3 mapping for HD or SD signals is also offered to improve the PDP's color scope and visual intensity. The B850 is going for S$4,999 and is driven by Samsung's Crystal FHD Engine.
