But wait, this is actually a bigger 17-inch model with better specs and the MacBook Pro branding. While its appearance shares the same unibody form factor and design, Apple has made some changes that differentiate the 17-inch MacBook Pro from the 15-inch MacBook Pro.

Of note is of course the widely talked about non-removable built-in battery, similar to the MacBook Air and totally different from the 15-inch MacBook Pro and the 13-inch MacBook. Apple states that their non-removable battery is custom designed to fit into the thin confines of the 17-inch MacBook Pro and has additional benefits like a longer recharge cycle and longer battery life; we'll talk more about these features later in the article.

Other less obvious changes of course lie in the ability to choose a non-reflective anti-glare screen, which should really have been de rigueur for their entire range. We're sure you've heard of us harping enough of reflective screens on our recent articles, so we'll leave it at that. Our review unit is unfortunately of the reflective kind (but we'll survive somehow). For now though, do sit back, relax, and indulge in the pure sexiness of the unibody Apple Macbook Pro:-

<img title="Looking all gorgeous and aluminum-y is the 17-inch Apple MacBook Pro.
