ActiVision Blizzard
If you haven't already heard, Vivendi Games, known for their Blizzard Entertainment division for popular games like Diablo, StarCraft, and WarCraft, has merged with ActiVision, known for their games like Quake and Doom3. The USD18billion merger results in a rising juggernaut against titan Electronic Arts (EA), further rousing the gaming industry.

The new company will be known as ActiVision Blizzard, taking on the name of the popular division instead of Vivendi Games. Blizzard will invest 2billion in the new company, while ActiVision will be putting in 1billion.  As expected, the parent company of Vivendi Games, which is Vivendi, will be the largest shareholder in the new group.
