Like a secret 1UP mushroom treat hidden among the forest of electrical goods and electronics, Malaysia finally has an official Nintendo store counter! Nintendo fans and gamers rejoice!
Located on the 3rd floor of Jaya Jusco Department Store at Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, the store counter currently sells Nintendo handheld systems, including Game Boy Micro, Game Boy Advance SP, and of course, the NDS Phat and Lite.
And what would a game system be if not for its games? The counter has a pretty good selection of old and new GBA and NDS titles. If you're looking for a particular title that's not on display, you can put in an order for it.
Since this counter was set up by the official local distributor in Malaysia, prices of the games are a bit higher than usual. However, they've a nice selection of GBA and NDS games, all of which are original. Not only that, you get an official 1 year warranty from Nintendo and 3 months 1-on-1 exchange period for all handheld systems bought there should if any defects arise.
As a gamer of a third-world country, it can be pretty hard to find original games and systems. Due to our country's high rates of piracy, it's not hard to understand why legit game distributors are reluctant to set up shop here. But with this first official Nintendo store counter to grace our shores, things are starting to look up for us gamers looking for original games.
More pics!
That's right, all original games and systems only!
I already have the game. Can I bring this poster home instead?
Black...DS...Lite...*drool*...
See that lone copy of the GBA Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls in the pic? It's mine now. MUAHAHAHAHA
Nice selection of NDS games on display. I want Trace Memory... T-T

It depends on the game. Some titles can be as low as RM99, though others are usually priced about RM169 and above.

What is the present price. Are all the colours' prices the same. How many games and how many GB memory card is included.
Well, granted that the DS is region-free so I don't think it's an issue as long as Nintendo okays it. Doesn't make sense to sell Japanese games in a non-Japanese speaking country.
