Boom goes the radar trap! There's no other game which is as frustrating as ProStreet when it comes to high-speed driving along country roads that ain't perfect (think the dangerous Shuto Expressway track and you'll see how frustrating it is). Thankfully, the almost-perfect tuning settings are here and they completely eliminate the dangers when it comes to high-speed runs. Braking is important in Speed races, especially at Nevada, the most dangerous track in the game. Thanks to Stage 4 brakes that never fade or lock, the car stays stable all the time!

Speed racing needs....no, demands top end power. After all, torque only measures how fast you get to the ceiling whereas horsepower sets the limit in the first place! Incidentally, top speed is only 403km/h.

Gearing is also important in a speed race. For the Evo X, the tuning determines how closely the upper cogs are to help the car maintain its speed. Close ratio roxxors when you're redlining in 5th gear at 350+ km/h!

Now, to the all-important bits - the suspension!!!! Try it and be amazed at how jumps won't affect you and bumps are soaked up faster than.....let's just say that the roads will feel as smooth as silk!

p.s. you can literally max out the Top Speed challenges without using your N20 - just draft an opponent and the car will be able to reach 403km/h within 500m of the timing towers, serious!
