Notebooks that you can actually game on? Asus says 'Why not?' and promptly came out with the Asus G1 and G2 notebooks. Now Asus has come up with a refresh of the G1 notebook series, the G1S, which comes with spanking new NVIDIA 8600M GT discrete graphics.
Starting prices? RM6988 for the 15.4" while the 17" model goes for a cool RM7988. Expensive? Terribly so. Highly desirable? Oh yes indeed. Click the jump for more wanton pics of the new G1S notebook in the flesh, along with Asus' Ultra Mobile U1F notebook and the oh-so-sexy Asus Lamborghini VX2.

Main picture of the Asus G1S notebook. Doesn't look much from afar but when you look closer...

Glossy palm rests, yum! And that's not all...

I really like how smooth the touch pad is. The edge of the notebook is the media player buttons, while that button in the center? Utterly pointless button that has green backlighting. But damn does it look nifty in the dark. :D
The WASD keys are specially marked to let others know the significance of these 4 important keys.
The lights on the side of the display flash accordingly when you're playing a game.

Not only does it comes with an HDMI interface, it even comes with an eSATA interface to quickly hot swap SATA drives.

This older 17" G2 model with ATI X1700 graphics is still a sexy-looking beast, especially with the red grill speakers on both sides.

The Asus EN8600GTS Silent sneakily crashes the Asus G1 notebook launch and makes a scene with its uber heatsinks.

This slim Asus U1F notebook with a leather palm rest and a tiny 11.1" widescreen display shows that it's capable of running Windows Vista.

The cream of the crop of Asus notebooks, the Asus Lamborghini VX2. Asus says their availability in the market will be confirmed later.
