FatCatLim | 21 July, 2008 10:50

What do you get when you cross flowery pink banners and minds weaned on video games? Why the Asian Game Developers Summit 2006, of course. Scintillating photos of game developers and speakers to follow after the jump.

A couple game developers enjoying a game of Need for Speed: Carbon on one of the Xbox 360 kiosks setup there by EA.

Around a quarter past 9, the waiting area starts to get crowded with attendees, especially around the food stalls - it was like an impenetrable wall.

Attendees made a beeline to the main hall for the first keynote of the day.

David Kunkler from Obsidian Entertainment spoke about managing one's production scope and applying agile management ideas to game production.

Josh Sawyer speaks the truth on the real reason why people mod. Speaking of which, is there a nude mod in CS? Hmm...

Full house for Joe Dever's track session. Who wouldn't want to catch a glimpse of one of the best adventure game book authors?

Joe Dever in the flesh.

Early game artwork work the upcoming Lone Wolf game in 2008 was also shown. Lone Wolf looks badass.

Chris Legaspi gave a real-time sketch demo of building upon a basic shape into a cool character. Very captivating demo. Too bad his laptop battery died before he could apply the finishing touches. :(

More pictures to follow once I get more time to sort my pictures. :3
