Not contended with their 1/60 scale Perfect-Grade Gundams, the Maru family from Japan got their paws on the 1/12 version of the iconic RX-78 Type II, which is over 3 feet tall, and assembled it! The whole kit costs a cool USD3000, and while its able to flash its eyes menacingly, and has over 14 moveable parts, it wont get around killing your entire family in the near future, not just yet.
Check out the cool assembly pics here!

Nokia launched its N93i, a smashingly sexay mobile that also records videos in near-DVD like quality. To commemorate the launch, they also launched the 'You make it reel' campaign which gives the average Joe the opportunity to win up to 10000 greenbacks (that's USD to you, matey), and a chance to create Greyskull's (we dont know who's that, either) second MTV!
Before that, you can also direct a music video for one of the 10 Malaysian artists that are supporting this program. They are OAG, DJ Fuzz, Jason Lo, Pete Teo, Gerhana Skacinta, Disagree, Joe Flizzow, Samir, Sasi The Don and One Buck Short.

Check out Microsoft's take on viral marketing; its definitely better than a bunch of Kens messing up the PSP's Xmas push =
Too bad the nearest country that has the sweeet promotional bundle of a 20GB machine + PGR3 + N3 + 2nd wireless remote for a mere RM1600++ is Singapore, although you enterprising gamers would have a lubang or two to cash in on the deal.

Not contented with all the iPhone knockoffs (or rather was knocked-off by the iPhone) out there, Mobile Review got a whiff of Asus' concept phone which does resemble the iPhone, somewhat but packs in more connectivity options and a sliding navigational bar that is oh-so-sexy. Did we mention the slide-out QWERTY keyboard? More pics after the break.

Olympus press conferences are always fun, especially if they've a product demo to go along with it. Today's launch of their new compact digital camera models saw a simple but effective demo of their new mju 770SW digital camera, which Olympus has touted as being not only waterproof to up to 10 metres but also freezeproof from -10 degrees Celcius, shockproof, and crushproof of up to 100kg! Click more to see pics of the demo!

Dopod has gone super mini with the launch of their u1000 mini notebook today. Not only is it a mini notebook, but it's also a mobile phone, GPS device, web browser, and digital camera! Outfitted with Windows Mobile 5.0, it's quite capable of handling presentation files and being a mobile office platform. Very handy. The QWERTY keyboard is even magnet-detachable for quick storage.
We'll leave it to our Singaporean counterparts to explain more about the Dopod U1000, which was launched there last week. The Dopod U1000 will have a suggested retail price of RM4288 and is expected to retail around early March.

Those lucky Koreans. They get to play with a new version of the StarTAC with this entry-level StarTAC III MS900. a fresh take on the iconic clamshell, IMHO what they need to do is to bring back those T28s and 5110s that lasted much longer than my current mobile. Ah, the memories

You know you'll want one. The culmination of Philips.LG technologies and over eight million pixels, this Zenview Powerscape Ultra HD system lets you watch your Hi-Def p0rn many times more efficiently. Not to mention, it gives power users a kick in their pants when their friends' jaws go-a-dropping.

We seriously had a fun time today poking about with the Samsung PPM63M6HBX, an upmarket coffee table that suspiciously looks like a plasma display. Of course, being a fine piece of furniture that it is, it cost us more than this table you can buy from a fine manufacturer somewhere in Indiana like the one above. But then again, you can't possibly play chess on something like that, wouldn't you? its too boring, and too plain, eventhough it is hadmade by craftsmen. No, we're technocrats and we used this intead;

Fancy a game of chess on my plasma screen, anyone?

This is a shot with our other writer, FatCatLim, for size comparision

From Aving.net, this television is the cumilation of a custom mod job at A1display.com, which makes full HD TVs to your flavour. What this means is that you can now stick it to the major corporations and have your own, affordable 32" Full HD LCD TV with three digital tuners and the like. What they don't advertise is the fact that you'll be getting cabinet designs like the one shown above, which isn't like the lovely Samsung Bordeaux designs, and the fact that the menu is only available in Korean.

Petrolheads who live their mondays to fridays as geeks can now experience a transverse blending of their lifestyles - thanks to the upcoming Shuttle CarPC which boasts a storage solution that does not lose or corrupt data when you turn your car off (we're thinking SSDs and flash memory) The other interesting thing about this PC is that unlike any other custom-built car PC, the whole unit is a heatsink, effectively cooling the rig off - in your boot or something.

Head over TweakTown for the heads-up, we only hope Shuttle actually delivers on their promise

It's pretty much confirmed, even though Microsoft refuses to comment on the rumors: the Xbox 360 Elite is on its way. That's the name of the new Xbox 360 with the 120GB HDD and HDMI port, which both Engadget and April Issue of Game Informer has gotten from their sources. The black color will be released in limited quantities, eventually replacing the current Xbox Premium.
They're expected to be available sometime late April, though Microsoft will apparently churn out an official press release in early April. Price? US$479 (RM1600...though expect the price to be jacked up when it comes to Malaysia).
To be honest, the Xbox 360 Elite looks like sex. I'd get one, if not for my limited budget. If the price is too high when it comes down over here, I'll just stick to the regular white Xbox Premium.

Happy Easter!!!

Aside from that, we have had a relatively quiet Easter so far, with little reports on the iPhone and even lesser news on what's coming to us in a couple of weeks. What we do know is that the R800 is coming - and is already trouncing the NVIDIA's 8800s due to their lack of proper HDMI-outputs (ATI has an inbuilt HD soundcard in their R800s!!). In other news, crazy Prius owners get back at the oil industry's big brother, and we spotted this cooooooool LEGO dock - which you can build your own! We'll be back for more regular updates - tomorrow XD

We're not sure of what's up Samsung's sleeves, but they just released these concept designs that could probably change the view of how we look at and use computers. Probably they were high on something, though as Harry Potter could use one while he's wearing it.

The last one above looks like an Ikea breakfast tray - something good to have if you love watching p0rn eating breakfast while watching Bloomberg on your bed

Creative has finally unwrapped their previously top-secret DAP known as the Zen Stone. While bloggers worldwide guessed about how it would look, Creative popped a shuffle-esque MP3 player out of the incubator yesterday and offered it to the world for SGD69 and in five colors.
