Lenovo's latest Desktops and Laptops

zerotau | 21 July, 2008 10:50

Wow, hasn't Lenovo been quiet for these past few months, but they're back, and tagging along with them are four new desktops and laptops that have some interesting features. I was there at the launch this morning, and there are a few things that caught my eye:

More after the jump

Now while the picture above looks very much like a dial from a spaceship, you can find this dial on the monitor that comes bundled with the new Lenovo Q series desktops like this one here:

Surprisingly angular, I would say, and it would be very much at home in a house an industrial decor. Anyways, the Lenovo guys got a couple of models to do their unveiling, and one of them was this 'auntie':

Notice the feather duster? My 50-year old mother regularly uses our home AIO to prepare teaching materials, and boy, that's some serious gender stereotyping there =.="

Anyways, these dudes were showing us how to work out notebooks out - on the left, there's the Y400 with a built-in 2W subwoofer; and on the right, the Y300 that has facial recognition technology. Not bad considering how small it is.....

This is Lenovo's representative from India showing off the capabilities of the Q-series desktop

To find out more about these new models, head over to Lenovo!
