LG Scarlet LH70 Full HD LCD TV Launch: When It Rains, It Pours

littlelion | 10 June, 2009 15:05

For the first half of 2009, this is the second time around in which we braved the pouring rain just to be present at a product launch of LG Philippines. Don’t consider this as a complaint, but a compliment, bearing in mind that rain has always been considered as a good portent of prosperity since the olden times. As a matter of fact, this is an actuality for LG who now ranks as the world’s third largest mobile phone manufacturer. Another important fact which is very much related with our story today, LG is also the second largest producer of television sets worldwide.

Following on the success of the LG70, the original Scarlet, LG Philippines organized the launch of the LH70, the new Scarlet model, last week.

Commentary: Electric Speed

eddard | 26 May, 2008 15:10

It’s not everyday that you can beat the pants off the Ferrari and Porsche drivers in a vehicle even more insubstantial than your regular owner-type jeep. After all, the multi-million peso cars mentioned above run 1 to 100 kph in around 4-5 seconds, and aside from plunking down the same amount of cash in a similar product to match these cars’ performance, you’d need to be piloting a fast aircraft to beat their speeds.

PowerPointers: How to Properly Harness the Power of the MS Office Slideshow Software

Jase | 08 June, 2007 20:12

At this day and age, it is rather rare to find a professional who has yet to encounter the workplace wonder that is Microsoft PowerPoint--either as a creator or even merely as a spectator.

By now, many have acquired a knack for assembling mind-blowing presentations, for both work and pleasure, with this program, while some remain utterly clueless about how to make even a half-way decent attempt at creating an effective slideshow. If you belong to the second category, I suppose the following clip should help you out in a big way:

Pong In Your Shirt

LordM | 14 March, 2007 17:33

Are you an Atari boy? IF the answer is yes, then I am sure you know the game called Pong. Its a simple game actually... All you have to do is to try to "hit" the ball, return it to your opponent, and hope that he won't be able to return it back.

Yes, it is quite similar to a game called Table Tennis but not quite. Anyway, if you want to relive your Atari days, then here's just the shirt for you...

Wake Up To The Ticking Of The Bomb

LordM | 21 February, 2007 17:51

Zzzzzzzz

There are times when I set two alarms just for me to wake up: my cellphone alarm and my normal alarm clock. But even if that's the case, I still can't seem to get up from my bed, take a bath, and get fixed. Someone at home really needs to wake me up and I really hate myself for that.

I am sure some of you readers have that problem too. And while there are a lot of solutions to this problem, why not buy an alarm clock that will scare the living daylights out of you once in a while? ;P

Sleep With Your Favorite Sushi Roll

LordM | 16 October, 2006 15:44

I just can't get enough of sushi.

Lately, my body has been craving for it (especially California Maki and Salmon... YUM!), and now I am thinking of buying a USB sushi drive to remind me just how good a sushi feels and tastes in my mouth.

Now, people by the names of Cindy and Mel take the sushi craze a step further by making sushi pillows.

Yes, sushi pillows...

Protect Your Valuable Gadgets

LordM | 16 October, 2006 15:26

If there is one thing I personally hate, it's placing my expensive gadget/s in a table/chair/drawer and accidentally leaving it behind. Of course, I couldn't blame anybody except myself for being such a forgetful person.

Now, there is a gadget that can "remind" you of your personal belongings.

I give to you, the Bodyguard!

Yes, sometimes this line is used by men/women who just want to strike up a conversation with you. But should you wish to avoid these kinds of people and tell everyone what time it is, then better buy this shirt...

This is the Time T-shirt: a new fun way of telling time.
