No More Boring Storage Devices For Us

Last Tuesday (August 22, 2006), I attended a press conference by Millennium Computer Technology Corporation, as they, together with some officials from LaCie, launched some of LaCie's line of external hard disk products here in the Philippines. Some of you guys may have seen their products in various malls already, but allow me to share some of the products I saw during this event.
Mr. Julien Marchal, the Director for Asia of LaCie, was the main speaker for this event. He introduced various storage solutions that cater to both consumers and professionals alike...
This one definitely caught my eye as it reminded me of my childhood...
This product is LaCie's Brick Hard Drive and was designed by Ora Ïto. This funky hard drive comes in three colors (white, red, and blue) and has a storage capacity range of 160GB-500GB. Take note that these products are stackable and mobile, enabling users to bring this brick and turn heads in the process.
A smaller version of the LaCie Brick Hard Drive is also available, and it's called the LaCie Brick Mobile Hard Drive.
This product comes in 40GB, 60GB, 80GB, and 120GB and uses either USB 2.0 or FireWire and USB 2.0.
Another product that caught my eye is the LaCie Skwarim...
This pink version has a capacity of 30GB while the blue version of this has a capacity of 60GB. It's USB 2.0 bus-powered and is easy-to-use as this device is Plug & Play. The Skwarim is the original creation of world-renowned designer Karim Rashid.
This is LaCie's Rugged Hard Drive...
The LaCie Rugged Hard Drive aims to protect your valuable data with this rugged, bus-powered, portable hard drive, designed by Neil Poulton, with a tough metal casing and shock-resistant rubber bumper for extra data protection. It has a storage capacity of 80GB, 100GB, and 120GB and is USB 2.0 compliant. Another model of the Rugged Hard Drive has FireWire 800, FireWire 400 & Hi-Speed USB 2.0 on it, ensuring connectivity on any PC.
For users who find the produts mentioned above too funky, then these products are for you...
The LaCie Little Big Disk is a small, triple interface, portable hard drive that has a very high capacity. It has a storage capacity of 160GB, 200GB, 240GB, and 320GB. It also comes with FireWire 800, FireWire 400, and USB 2.0 for faster data transfer.
The really SAFE hard drive...
The LaCie SAFE Hard Drive comes in 250GB, 300GB, and 500GB storage capacities, USB 2.0 hard drive for PC or Mac storage, and Locks/Unlocks the drive with fingerprint recognition. It also has triple security features to prevent people from taking a look at your precious documents: It comes with a biometric access control; an internal firmware drive lock; and a chain lock port (Chain lock sold separately), providing security like no other.
Another product by LaCie is specifially made for the Apple Mac mini and is called the LaCie mini Hard Drive & HUB...
It has a storage capacity of 250GB, 300GB, 400GB, and 500GB has a FireWire 400 interface, and stacks perfectly with Apple Mac mini. This user-friendly plug & play hard drive is exclusively designed with a unique four-corner crown for cooling airflow protection. Also, with its USB 2.0 and FireWire plus 4 additional USB 2.0-powered hub ports and 2 additional FireWire-powered hub ports, users will be able to connect all of their hardware peripherals all at once.

I ask myself "how the hell do you dodge an world of warcraft gold attack you can't even SEE?"Melee DPSers in your raid are playing very badly, increasing the damage to your tank and wow power leveling decreasing their own damage output. Mobs do dodge from behind, but they don't parry or block. Simply fighting from behind world of warcraft gold a mob results in an increase of 5% in your DPS on most mobs because you cut cheap wow gold parry out, plus you avoid giving the mob the 'next world of warcraft gold swing is 50% faster' that they get on a successful parry.Don't forget that wow powerleveling some even get BONUS attacks when they parry. I can't tell you how many times we wiped on Gruul because of hateful world of warcraft gold strikes...Melee DPS should always be behind mobs as much as possible in raids.I've learned that attacking players from the back means they can't block, parry, or dodge. Is this the same with wow power leveling mobs?It's supposed to be the case, however I'm not sure if it always works that way in practice.i have never heard world of warcraft gold anything about hitting a player from behind making it so they cant cheap wow gold dodge or parry, in raids melee classes never go behind there targets so i assume there is no such thing world of warcraft gold and its the same for mobs.Yes, players can block parry or dodge attacks from behind.
