Last Thursday, a revolution has successfully commenced. But unlike the destructive concept of revolution which most of us may be familiar with, this revolution doesn’t aim to destabilize but rather cement an order that was established during the advent of the HP Mini 2133 - an order where technology and style converge in perfect harmony. Orchestrated by HP Philippines Personal Systems Group (PSG), the HP Mini Revolution took center stage at M Cafe in Makati City.

Though non-violent, we couldn’t say that the commencement of HP Mini Revolution was peaceful overall. Everyone was abuzz with excitement to see the latest Mini-Note PCs from HP.
Here’s a closer look at the theme of the affair. The HP Mini Revolution revolves around the ideology of tasteful convergence between technology and style.
HP Philippines fittingly selected TV personality and former Miss Universe 1st Runner-up Ms. Miriam Quiambao as the host of the event. Ms. Quiambao was gorgeous as ever in an outfit designed by world-renowned, New York-based fashion designer Vivienne Tam.
Gracing the event was HP Philippines PSG Country General Manager Ms. Bernadette Nacario. In this photo, she is welcoming a multitude of I.T. and lifestyle journalists.
We’ve been expecting product launches of HP to be touched with some degree of graceful artistry. In this case, they didn’t disappoint, thanks to the creative team of Stratworks Marketing Communications. Showcasing the three new Atom-powered (N270) Mini-Note PCs that stirred up the HP Mini Revolution, each was personified by a model clad in inspired body paint.
Starting off with the HP Mini 1100, this Mini-Note PC is a solid performer that meets the computing needs of the travelling businessman and the road warrior.
This new edition showcases the unique HP Imprint that outlines a refined, high-gloss black exterior and offers an enriched onyx allure for a durable finish with a fashion appeal. It also showcases a 10.1-inch widescreen display and a nearly full-sized keyboard. The HP Mini 1100 is available for PhP 18,950.
Next up is the HP Mini 2140. An upgrade to the original HP Mini 2133, this is the new flagship model of the HP Mini-Note lineup.
Sharing similarities with the original 2133 in terms of design, the HP Mini 2140 sports an all-aluminum case braced with a magnesium alloy support structure. These materials contribute to this Mini-Note's remarkable light weight (1.19Kg). In addition, it features the HP DuraKeys and the HP 3D DriveGuard which make it a highly reliable companion on the go. The HP Mini 2140 costs PhP 23,950.
Last but not the least is the Mini 1100 Vivienne Tam Special Edition. Headlined as the world’s first ever digital clutch, this Mini-Note model is the quintessential fashion-forward accessory for the modern woman.
Festooned with dazzling peony blooms, this mini-note symbolizes good fortune and timeless prosperity. Most importantly, only 250 units of this precious jewel will be sold in the country and HP will be throwing an exclusive bash for lucky owners this June. The HP Mini 1100 Vivienne Tam Special Edition is priced at PhP 27,950.
HP Philippines Consumer Market Development Manager Mr. Jerry Dy, PSG Small & Medium Business Segment Marketing Communications Ms. Bebi Guzman, Ms. Miriam Quiambao, Ms. Bernadette Nacario, and Mr. Harold Geronimo of Stratworks strike a pose with the new HP Mini-Note PCs.
And here’s an unvarnished depiction where technology meets style, and vice versa.
There you have it. Like you, we too are excited about getting our hands on these new HP Mini-Note PCs that ignited the HP Mini Revolution. Be sure to catch our coming print review in HWM Philippines!
