Yep. A couple of years ago, these so-called HD camcorders cost around P100k. I feel sorry for those who bit the hype bait.

I wish we had these types of camcorders when we were in College. In our Film class, we were using a JVC mini-casette video recorder.

Another problem with cassette recording is that we had to convert the output to digital form. With today's camcorder, it's a lot more convenient and straightforward.

Recently me and my family visited Disneyland and ocean park hongkong, sad i was not able to shoot the disneyland because im using minidv, which I thought i can buy minidv cassette tape in any stall there, Luckily on the following day I got minidv in ocean park. back here in the philippines, I decided now to give up my minidv and capture our life with JVc everio series.

Stan, that's a good decision. By the way, what model did you buy?

In fairness, these camcorders are a lot good-looking than those from Sanyo.
