Star Wars Episode IV, Old School Style

LordM | 23 April, 2007 16:07

Want to see Star Wars (Ep. 4) on your Windows / DOS?

Then here's just the command for you...

Go to run and type this command: telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl

And in a couple of seconds, Star Wars Episode 4 will run in a way you never imagined.

So go on, type in telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl and tell us if this is a great translation from the original.

Thanks to ibsmav who pointed this wonderful file to me.

... first, open up your Command Window (Start>All Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt) THEN type in the thing.

You gotta love old-school DOS commands. :)

This isn't on Windows XP. You're accessing a remote site, kind of like a webpage. This is also very, VERY old. It came out years ago.
