Razer Naga MMO Laser Gaming Mouse: Adding Imba To Your Gaming Lingo

littlelion | 05 November, 2009 15:59

Unusual gaming peripherals are no longer new to us. A few months back, we wrote about a peculiar gameboard that was loaned to us for quite some time. This month, Razer, through their local distributor, American Technologies Inc., brought us the ergonomic Razer Naga MMO laser gaming mouse.

Upon seeing the product, some of us were quite intrigued about the message that is labeled on the side of its packaging. It says “Get Imba”. The most avid gamer among us said that “imba” is a gamer lingo for imbalanced. Particularly for those who are into “World of Warcraft”, the word is normally used to describe someone who or something which is too strong. It could also mean too weak, although the latter meaning is seldom used. In the case of the Naga, we are certain that Razer is capitalizing on the positive aspect of the term.

Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard And G35 Surround Sound Headset: Must Haves For Gamers

littlelion | 19 June, 2009 13:02

PC gaming is alive and kicking in the Philippines and IDC (International Data Corporation) is showing us some relevant figures that support such a vigorous statement. From about 6.3 million last year, the estimated population of Filipino gamers is incessantly increasing at present. IDC is predicting that it would reach 7.8 million by the end of 2009. Noteworthy, these numbers pertain only to the online gaming community in the country, not including those who are into other sorts of game genres. Nonetheless, these stats are already adequate to provide us with what’s happening in the local gaming business.

Likewise, based on these figures, we should also see why gaming peripherals are a big venture for manufacturers such as Logitech. By simply visiting their website, you could see that the Swiss company has a fairly comprehensive arsenal of weapons for hardcore types of gamers. Two new additions to this elite armory are the Logitech G13 advanced gameboard and the Logitech G35 USB gaming headset, both of which had a stopover at our new, sweet home recently.

Surely, we are not talking about the dreaded swine flu virus here since it is not airborne at all. What we’re bringing up for discussion is a new strain of mouse which we anticipate will be as contagious as the common cold. The Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Air Mouse is opening a new chapter in intuitive computing, which has been a concept rapidly spreading more than ever.

Looking at this box shot, we could see a lot of important details about the Logitech MX Air. The marketing slogan “On the Desk. In the Air.” gives us a premonition of how versatile the MX Air really is. Additionally, the product shot and the statement under it suggest that it is the ideal accessory for an HTPC setup. Also, seen here are Logitech’s familiar green color scheme, logo and Swiss badge.

How Clean Can You Go?

LordM | 13 March, 2007 21:10

How clean is your keyboard? Here's a short but effective experiment...

Lift your keyboard from your table and give it a tap. Better yet, hit it against your table...

Now, tell me what you see...

I did it once on my office keyboard and found skin flakes, bread crumbs, and other disgusting things. Of course, I tapped it again and again just to remove all the dirt stuck in the middle of the keys. Time consuming, yes. But clean? Probably not.
